The NFL Playoff picture is a little muddled right now. The Patriots and Giants are tied at 5-5, and the Colts and Packers have lost their last two games. The Panthers and Jets are out of the playoff picture altogether. But with a loss or tie in Week 18 by the Falcons or Chargers, the Colts and Packers can clinch their playoff berths.
The NFL Playoff picture is a snapshot of the teams remaining in each conference, and it reflects their standings at the end of the regular season. The top two seeds in each conference are guaranteed byes in the Divisional Round. The remaining two teams are known as Wild Cards, and they could come from any division. In fact, one division could have three playoff teams if a team wins its division and gets a bye.
